Farm for the Future with the Prince’s Countryside Fund

  • Countryside

Farm for the Future is a new programme co-ordinated by the Prince's Countryside Fund which will help farm businesses in England to prepare for the upcoming agricultural policy changes. It involves a series of flexible and engaging workshops, online learning, signposting, one-to-one support, peer networking and learning delivered locally to groups of farmers.

The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund (PWCF) is pleased to share the following press release from our charitable subsidiary, the Prince’s Countryside Fund (PCF).

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is inviting farm businesses to join their new Farm for the Future programme, which is being delivered both virtually and by local Farm Support Groups in 11 areas across England.

Farm for the Futureprovides free business and environmental support so farmers are better placed to manage the changes ahead, and discover opportunities through the new Environmental Land Management schemes that may financially and practically benefit their farm. Any tenant or owner-occupied farm currently in receipt of the Basic Payment Scheme in England is eligible to join the programme by 31 October.

The programme consists of a welcome meeting, two workshops and one to one support. For more information and to express interest in taking part please visit www.princescountrysidefund.org.uk/farmforthefuture.
