A special year for our Founder

The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund is delighted to share Their Royal Highnesses Annual Review 2018-19 which was published in June 2019.

The annual review highlights another extremely busy year with almost 640 engagements across fourteen countries.

In the course of their first full year as a newly consolidated group, The Prince of Wales’s three core charities: The Prince’s Trust, The Prince’s Foundation and The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund, raised over £90m. The Fund awarded grants of more than £5 million to a wide range of small and medium sized organisations thanks to funds raised by royalties from Waitrose Duchy Organics and revenue from the Highgrove Garden Tours amongst others.

It was also a year of great personal happiness, with the marriage of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex alongside the birth of another grandchild, Prince Louis. These events, in addition to the honour of being unanimously chosen to be the next Head of the Commonwealth, combined to make it a very special year.
