‘You go above and beyond for us and you are fully inclusive, super fun, give me a break and give me peace of mind that my son is safe in your care. I am going to miss you all so much.'

The Peter Pan Centre has been supported in their work to give children with special needs the best start in life by an award from The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund small grants programme. The Centre supports children from across Stoke and Staffordshire, 55% of whom are from a deprived area. Support is inclusive and values individual diversity.

Sessions run by the Peter Pan Centre address the learning and development needs of disabled pre-school children. 65 children are supportedwith weekly (or more frequent) education care and development sessions. Families are supported to meet unique needs in the home and respite is provided when necessary. In addition, the Centre helps to ease the transition to school for children and their families.
